GAFIRS has three levels of membership:

Full Membership
Open to adults (17yrs+) Who are interested in supporting the organisation with its operational commitments and activities. -
Cadet Membership
Open to youths (14yrs - 17yrs) who are interest in learning BCU canoe lifeguard skills, RLSS Lifeguarding. -
Supporter Membership
Open to anyone not in the above catagories, this generally encompasses those that wish to assist on fundraising events.
How to Join
If you would like to become a member of GAFIRS, please download a membership form and child protection form (links below) and send them to the address on our contact details page or drop them off in person at the boathouse. Please note that both forms must be completed before an application can be accepted.
N.B. the forms are in pdf format for which you will need appropriate software or browser plugin. One such piece of software, Adobe Reader, is available to download free at get.adobe.com/uk/reader/.
GAFIRS welcomes membership applications from any interested person. Any skills, even if they may not seem relevant, can always be put to good use. Drop in a for an informal visit and chat about the organisation.

- Full Membership: £20 (per year)
- Cadet Membership: £15 (per year)
- Supporter Membership: £20 (per year)
